The MBA in Public Accountancyprogram prepares students for careers in public accounting, and consists of 36 credits of graduate research beyond the BS in Accounting at New Paltz or its equal. This program is registered with the NYS Education Departmentas meeting its one hundred fifty-semester-hour training requirement for turning into a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
